It's been a very long time since i drew much. But the recent drawings are going back to basics, working with my forever love of blossom, trees and nature.

Thanks to a few of my friends words of inspiration I've been doodling again after a few months of nothing.

I can't tell you how special that feeling is when someone describes your work in the exact way you wanted it to be seen.
It's a rare sense of surprising vulnerability, a realisation that the feelings put into the work can be seen just as easily as the written word.
I draw for myself, for my own therapy, but to know someone out there understands it just as well as i do is amazing. It's filled me with a sense of hope, that not everything i do is lost in the jungle of art out there in the big wide world, that maybe someone, somewhere would love and cherish my work the way i do.

So, i think i will persevere with this hobby and hope it leads to something wonderful.
